The powerful Sea Scout and Probe in one compact
package!
Combines all of the features of the Sea Scout and Probe into one
unit. Unique transducer can scan side to side to search for schools of bait or
gamefish, or can be aimed to show a vertical slice of the water ahead of your
boat. Also includes a powerful 2D transducer for traditional fishfinder screen
operation. The TwinScope Sonar scans a moving beam over a 90 degree arc across
the bow of your boat, like a searchlight, with forward ranges up to 1,200 feet,
and simultaneously operates as a full-function downlooking fishfinder.
Sportfishermen can scan the area in front of their boat and steer directly to
suspended fish, schools of bait and other underwater targets. Allows you to
adjust both scan width and direction for optimum forward coverage with a single
knob and a forward alarm can easily be set to warn of approaching fish or
schools of bait. The eight-channel phased array forward scanning beam stays
centered 20 degrees below the surface and scans 45? to either side of your bow.
Working like an underwater radar, the TwinScope Sonar also scans a moving beam
vertically from just below the surface to directly beneath your boat to show
'live action' views of changing bottom contours, structure obstructions and
schools of fish ahead of your boat. In addition the TwinScope Sonar operates
with a full function downward looking mode for conventional fishfinding action.
Looking 1200 feet ahead of your bow and down to 800' below the keel, the Probe
gives you a clear view of the entire water column ahead of and below your boat.
The front panel knob control allows optimum adjustment of the forward beam
direction and width with a unique alarm that can be set to warn of upcoming
bottom changes. Completely waterproof. High resolution backlit LCD 4'' x 3.5''
SuperTwist LCD display. provides clear, crisp echoes from the 400-watt RMS
transmitter. Operating at 200kHz, the downward looking fishfinder can also be
split screened to show forward looking data, track plot data and navigational
digital data. 'Power Off' memory remembers all of your settings even during
power off. The eight-channel phased array forward looking mode scans a 12? beam
area from the surface to below your boat and outwards 1200 feet. Optional
speed/temp sensors available. Display modes include full screen forward, full
screen downward, split screen forward/downward, forward or downward with nav
data digits, 3-D forward scan, and split screen downward with track plotter. 4X
oversampling for high resolution zooming. Auto gain and depth adjustments. Full
